Meg takes you to an EDM party like no other with Meg Version 2.0 Party You Can’t Beat!
It was a night of non-stop partying with unlimited booze for everybody who joined us as we celebrated 16 years of MEG magazine. There were lots of goodies for all the MEG ladies! We gave away Php 5,000 worth of shopping sprees from Jellybean, gift packs from Forever21 for the best OOTNs (Outfit of the Night) and LOTNs (Look of the Night), gift certificates from Beauty & Butter, and special items from Collection and Lip Ice.
The party definitely heated up as MC Roda King and Sanya Smith welcomed the guests with so much energy and rocking beats. To start the night off, MEG magazine’s editor-at-large Bianca Gonzalez went up the stage to greet everyone, thank the sponsors and show our appreciation for all the people who have been part of and have always supported the Meg brand. Bianca revealed the rationale of revamping Meg 2.0 from being a style-your-life magazine to a level up magazine for the bold, young woman – definitely a highlight!
The rest of the editorial team was also called on stage for a congratulatory toast – and for everyone to see the faces behind Meg: Executive Editor – Ning Hilario; Fashion editor – Rain Dagala; Features Writer – Guia Galvez, Fashion Associate – Portia Ladrido, Beauty Associate – Ionne Ocampo, Sr. Graphic Designer – Tin Lagula, Editorial Coordinator – Bea Gabuya and Ad&Promo Associate – Wena Manalastas.
With the night still young, the best EDM playlists were thrown down by the 5 hottest DJs in Manila: The Zombettes, DJ Katsy Lee versus DJ Jess Milner versus DJ Euric, and DJ Ian SNDRZ. Playing an epic battle of EDM songs, the crowd surely rocked the party no one could beat. This is just the start for a bolder, newer and more exciting MEG v2.0.
MEG Party U Can’t Beat couldn’t be possible without our sponsors. Special thanks to Havaianas, Lip Ice, Jellybean, Collection, Forever21, Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels, Beauty and Butter, and our official venue, Club Haze! #MEGPARTYUCANTBEAT
